All services are provided by Affrmr LLC, out of California, referred to as Affrmr in the following privacy policy statement. It is Affrmr’s policy to respect your privacy and to not indiscriminately disseminate any information we collect while operating our website.

Non-Personally-Identifying Information

As is common practice, Affrmr collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Affrmr's solely uses that information in-house for the purpose of understanding how Affrmr's visitors use the platform.

Personally-Identifying Information

Visitors to Affrmr's websites may choose to interact with Affrmr in ways that require Affrmr to gather their personally-identifying information, such as submitting their e-mail address to receive more information about our services or to create a user account on Affrmr’s platform. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, however refusing to do so may eliminate the possibility of them engaging in certain activities facilitated by the Affrmr platform. Affrmr does not disclose personally-identifying information to any other entity other than as described below.

Affrmr discloses your non-personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Affrmr's behalf or to provide services available on Affrmr’s platform, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Affrmr will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. If you are a registered user of the Affrmr platform and/or have supplied your email address, Affrmr may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what's going on with Affrmr and our products. If you send us a request (for example via email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Affrmr takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

Analytics/Performance

Used to better understand the behavior of the users of our platform and improve our platform accordingly. The uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). The information collected by Google (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States (Google is certified to the Privacy Shield for data transfers). How long a Google Analytics cookie remains on your computer or device depends on what it is and what it is used for. Some Google Analytics cookies expire at the end of your browser session, whilst others can remain for up to two years. You can prevent your data from being collected by Google Analytics on our website by downloading and installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on for your current web browser. International Users

Affrmr is based in the United States. If you are accessing our Services from the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use, please note that your Personal Data will be transmitted to our servers in the United States and the data may be transmitted to our service providers supporting our business operations (described above). The United States may have data protection laws less stringent than or otherwise different from the laws in effect in the country in which you are located. Where we transfer your Personal Data out of the EU we will take steps to ensure that your Personal Data receives an adequate level of protection where it is processed and your rights continue to be protected (GDPR).

By providing your information to the Services you agree to the transfer of your information to the United States and processing globally in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

As Affrmr is a young platform whose services change as it grows, Affrmr may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Affrmr’s sole discretion. Affrmr encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. If you have a Affrmr account, you might also receive an alert informing you of these changes.
